As a result, musculoskeletal problems are more uncommon in trail runners compared with those who run on flat surfaces. Trail running in the forest works many of the body’s muscles. Getting started with trail running does not require any major investments. Regular active-wear is ideal for a run in the forest. However, you should consider wearing clothing that can tolerate some wear and tear. Splashing mud and snagging twigs are run-of-the-mill for trail runners. It’s also a good idea to wear long-sleeved tops and trousers to help prevent skin scratches and abrasions.
