Common properties of Biltema floor paints
All floor paints in our range are open to diffusion, which means they are breathable and let air through. Therefore, they are ideal on both wooden surfaces (indoors only) and concrete, and do not flake.
Durable floor paint
Our floor paint penetrates and adheres very well to porous materials, resulting in a durable and wear-resistant floor surface. This makes our floor paint perfect for children’s playrooms, for example, where lots of playing and stomping about necessitate a durable floor.
Easy to keep clean
The floor paints in our range are semi- or full-gloss, which results in floors that are easy to keep clean.
1K Floor paint
Our 1K floor paints are semi-gloss. Floors painted with this type of floor paint are easy to keep clean and have good light- and glare-resistance. 1K floor paint is perfect for areas where you need a floor with a durable surface, without getting an overly industrial feel.
The floor paints have a polyurethane/acrylate base, which means that the paint has good painting properties and is intended for floors that are exposed to lighter loads in the home. The floor paints in this category are one-component paints, which also makes them easy to paint with.
2K floor paint
The floor paints in this category are glossy and make the floor very easy to keep clean. These are two-component paints where the thermosetting plastic base provides a harder and more durable surface, which makes the floor paint suitable for areas where you need very good wear resistance, such as in the garage.
The floor paints have an epoxy base, which produces a chemical-resistant surface intended for floors that are exposed to heavier loads in the home.
It’s good to remember that since the 2K floor paints are two-component paints, they are a little harder to apply, which means they place higher demands on you as a painter.
